Whistler's Mother Writing
Julie and her mother visit the art gallery every weekend. Julie thought it was such a ridiculous thing to do. “ We could be watching a movie, go shopping or do something fun,”said Julie to her mother. Julie's mother gave her the look “complain one more time and then you’re not going to Brie’s party” said Julie’s mother. So Julie just looked around and then the Whistler’s Mother painting caught her eye. She stared at it for a while, admiring the painting. “Achoo” a sound came from the painting. Julie's jaw dropped and her eye’s were widened. “ Some privacy would’ve been nice,I mean like seriously, why do you people do this all the time?” said the Whistler’s Mother, reaching out for the tissue that was in Julie’s pocket. “AHHHHHHHHHH” Julie screamed and ran out of the Art Gallery.

Evan Cyclone
Evan Cyclone
The hard rain woke me up. I walk slowly outside. The wind blew into my face angrily. The leaves flew like birds in the sky. The calm, beautiful river, which now looks like Milo rushed into my house. The sad looking sky threw water harshly. The siren screams as loud as it can to warn people that the tide is coming in fast. My dad got all our stuff and we rushed into our car and drove off to the church building near us. We passed by a few people who had frightened and worried looks on their faces. Of course it didn't really worry me as I was only 3-4 years old. It wasn’t long until the salty sea water was right behind our tail. I have never seen water so angry. We got to the church building safely. People were already there. The church building was high so not much water would get to it. We slept where I used to see people sit every Sunday. Every morning, I would get up and look outside, and every morning it got worse. Every night, we would gather with the rest of the people who were at the building and pray, then we have dinner and then adults would make jokes which us kids didn’t understand and we weren’t allowed to go outside so we just stayed where our parents were. About 4 days later, things started to calm down and we were allowed to go outside. But we still haven’t seen the sun, rain was still there. The broken houses were still there. And then about 3 days later we went back home to see our house, and it had no roof and there was also sand everywhere. Even though it might be the worst thing that happened, we knew how to figure things out. And this was the Evan Cyclone, the worst tropical cyclone to affect the island of Samoa since cyclone Val.

Letter to WHO
Dear: World Health Organisation
You’ve probably already known about the GPGP( The Great Pacific Garbage Patch).
I have just found out about it and now know that this is a big problem in the world. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is pretty frightening as it is already starting to damage the environment and is starting to cause pollution. The GPGP is already starting to cause damage to sea life animals or in other words, one of the biggest parts in the food chain. Plastic has already done enough damage to the environment and I think it’s time to do something about it.
I think that you should reconsider looking at GPGP and start to clean it up before it gets worse. My suggestion is that people that live near the GPGP for example California and Hawaii(because covid is still around) should start to clean up the plastic. They can do this by taking boats in with nets hanging at the back of them to catch the plastic. People who don’t have boats should start to clean up the shore. We should all start to rethink plastic and reduce the use of it. I think that this is the only option we have got right now as COVID-19 is still wandering around. I really appreciate how you guys are focusing on Covid-19 to protect the whole world but without our ocean there is no life.
I hope you take my suggestion into consideration. Thank you for reading this letter and I hope you have a good day.
