Letter to WHO
Dear: World Health Organisation
You’ve probably already known about the GPGP( The Great Pacific Garbage Patch).
I have just found out about it and now know that this is a big problem in the world. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is pretty frightening as it is already starting to damage the environment and is starting to cause pollution. The GPGP is already starting to cause damage to sea life animals or in other words, one of the biggest parts in the food chain. Plastic has already done enough damage to the environment and I think it’s time to do something about it.
I think that you should reconsider looking at GPGP and start to clean it up before it gets worse. My suggestion is that people that live near the GPGP for example California and Hawaii(because covid is still around) should start to clean up the plastic. They can do this by taking boats in with nets hanging at the back of them to catch the plastic. People who don’t have boats should start to clean up the shore. We should all start to rethink plastic and reduce the use of it. I think that this is the only option we have got right now as COVID-19 is still wandering around. I really appreciate how you guys are focusing on Covid-19 to protect the whole world but without our ocean there is no life.
I hope you take my suggestion into consideration. Thank you for reading this letter and I hope you have a good day.
